THERMOMIX TM6
DISCOVER YOUR MODES!
Fermentation Mode
Used to make homemade yoghurt. The right and constant temperature creates the perfect environment for bacterial growth. Also suitable for helping dough rise. Leave foods to ferment for a maximum of 12 hours at 37-85°.
Kettle Mode
This mode was developed to replace the separate use of a kettle. The remaining time of the operating mode is not displayed because - as with classic kettles - the heating time depends on the initial temperature and the amount of water. You can heat 100-1800 ml of water between 37-100°C and use it for tea, baby bottles or pasta. Always use the measuring cup to prevent the water from overflowing.
Weighing Mode
It has 1 g intervals of precision. The maximum weight is 6kg in total. It works in 2 times 3kg steps. So you can add a maximum of 3kg per step. It cannot be used during modes.
Turbo Mode
In turbo mode, the blade speeds up to 10,700 rotations per minute! It can be used for short chopping between 0.5 - 2 seconds at the highest speed. You can chop ingredients or herbs that cannot be pulverized. For example; Chocolate, set cheese, nuts, parsley. Accordingly, for safety reasons, the locking arms will only unlock when you exit turbo mode from the screen.
Prewash Mode
Put a maximum of 1000 g of water into the mixing bowl and pour a drop of dishwashing liquid; your Thermomix will perform the pre-cleaning.
You can also use the PREWASH mode if you want to give the mixing bowl a quick clean between two stages of a recipe, or if you are preparing several dishes and the mixing bowl only requires a quick clean between each.
Vacuum Cooking Mode
Cooking in a vacuum (Sous-vide) is a gentle method of preparing meat. The meat is placed in a vacuum bag and cooked in a water bath. This mode allows you to cook meat, fish and seafood at a defined and constant temperature between 40-85°C for 1-5 hours. After that, it will be quite tender.
High Temperature
Only available in recipes in Cookidoo® with Guided Cooking, it is not a manual mode. It is used for steps in Cookidoo® recipes, such as caramelizing onions and sautéing meat.
Blending Mode
The blending mode replaces an additional mixer, for example for making shakes or smoothies. Purees, soups, desserts, all are made in this mode.
It will start slowly at speed 5 and will automatically increase to speed 8 with a single use.
Dough Kneading Mode
The maximum weight is 1000 g. Dough mode can be used until the temperature reaches 60°C. Use the measuring cup when using to prevent ingredients from splashing out of the mixing bowl. You can also knead bread, pita dough, and meatballs.
When your dough is heavy, you can use the spatula for a better kneading result. If you are trying your own recipes, do not leave it unattended
Darken Mode
It guarantees the perfect consistency for your sauce. It controls and adjusts the cooking time according to the quantity, type of ingredients and temperature. The recommended temperature for starchy sauces is 100ºC and for egg sauces is 80ºC.
Rice Cooker Mode
You can cook rice and other grains perfectly in one step at a time. It can also be used to cook millet, bulgur and wheat. You can cook up to 500 grams of rice. Enjoy healthy and delicious pilafs with a wonderful consistency without being mushy.
Egg Boiling Mode
You can boil your eggs by choosing from five different options to get the perfect consistency you want: soft-boiled, apricot-like, medium, hard and fully hard-boiled.
Slow Cooking Mode
In this cooking method, which provides more delicate results, you leave it to cook for a long time without touching it. For example; Cook up to 800 gr of meat between 37-98°C for 1-8 hours without touching it. Ideal for stews. Use for soft results that will melt in your mouth.
Candy Stages Mode
It is only available in recipes in Cookidoo® with Guided Cooking, it is not a manual mode. You can make recipes such as caramels, lollipops, croquants and fudge found in Cookidoo® recipes.
